We want the information around planning a journey to be as clear and considered as the journey itself.

Who this policy covers
This working policy explains how the Zhangjiajie Beyond English website handles information when you explore places, save choices to My Zhangjiajie, or share details through Plan My Journey.
The production operating entity and formal privacy contact are not yet confirmed. Those details will appear here before release.

What you may choose to share
The journey form is designed to collect only the information needed to understand a planning request.
Do not submit passport numbers, identity documents, payment card details, medical records or other unnecessary sensitive information.

- Saved places and journey preferences
- Optional pace, food or accessibility needs

How My Zhangjiajie works
My Zhangjiajie stores the IDs of your selected places and journeys in your browser's local storage. The website uses those IDs to show the current English names when you return on the same browser and device.
It is a preference list, not an account, a booking or a shopping cart. You can remove individual choices or clear the list from the interface.
04 · PURPOSE
How enquiry information would be used
When a production enquiry service is approved, information you submit would be used to understand your interests, respond to your request, and take the planning steps you ask us to take before a possible travel service agreement.
Journey enquiries and marketing subscriptions must remain separate. Marketing consent will not be assumed from a planning request.
05 · CURRENT DEVELOPMENT BUILD
No external enquiry submission is active
The current development form uses a local simulation. It does not send the form to a travel advisor, external service or production database, and it does not retain the form after the simulation.
06 · SERVICE PROVIDERS
Hosting and international processing
Production hosting, analytics and other processing providers have not been selected or approved. Before release, this section must identify the relevant categories of recipients, processing locations and safeguards for international transfers where required.
07 · DEVICE TECHNOLOGY
Cookies and similar technology
The current enquiry system does not activate a production analytics provider. My Zhangjiajie uses local storage for saved selections. Any future non-essential analytics or advertising technology must be documented and supported by consent controls where applicable.
08 · RETENTION & SECURITY
Keeping information only as long as needed
The production retention period is not yet approved. The final policy will explain how long different categories of information are kept and the safeguards used to protect them. The development mock submission does not persist form information.
09 · YOUR CHOICES
Access, correction and deletion
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, request portability, or complain to a supervisory authority. The final policy will explain which rights apply and provide a verified way to exercise them.
10 · CHILDREN
Information about younger travellers
The planning service is intended for adults. A parent or guardian should provide only the information reasonably needed to plan for a child and should avoid unnecessary identifying or sensitive information.
11 · UPDATES & CONTACT
Changes to this policy
A confirmed last-updated date, legal operator and privacy contact will be added after operational and legal review. Material changes will be presented clearly on this page.
