START WITH THE CLIMB

The road is scenic.
The effort is real.

The official Manual does not describe a network of easy cycle paths. It publishes one specific route from Wulingyuan urban area to the Forest Park South Gate and rates it 4 out of 5.

That truth shapes this page: the approximately 5 km climb and 360 metres of elevation gain come before the photographs.

PLAN WITH CONDITIONS, NOT ASSUMPTIONS

A bicycle alone
is not a cycling plan.

Equipment, road access, weather, local cycling support, a return transfer and an emergency plan all require current confirmation. Save the route as an interest; the tailored proposal must verify the operating reality.
