Xiangxifu is a cultural tourism venue in Wulingyuan, built around a Ming–Qing architectural ensemble and a sequence of courtyards, halls and exhibition rooms.
Public reporting describes its focus as Tusi-era history, folk customs, intangible cultural heritage experiences and immersive cultural presentation. The setting is an interpretation of western Hunan culture; it should not be treated as a complete account of every community or living tradition in the region.

Shizhong Hall places the Peng Tusi story at the centre.
Hunan Daily's published introduction identifies Shizhong Hall as a core space, with interpretation centred on the Peng family's long Tusi-era role in western Hunan and the story of Ming-period frontier service associated with Peng Yinan.
That is the venue's interpretive frame. A responsible visit should keep the distinction between historical evidence, exhibition narrative and contemporary tourism presentation visible—especially when translating the story for an international audience.
