The official Manual describes Dream Zhangjiajie as a classic folk performance in the Geopark, created in 2004 and focused on cultural heritage from western Hunan.
Its photographs and programme are evidence of a produced visitor performance. Individual traditions, communities and living cultural identities extend beyond what any single stage can represent.
